Unfortunately, we were extremely disappointed on the day of the move.
While clearing out our old apartment, we noticed that the team hadn't been particularly careful with our belongings or the apartment. Furniture was pushed across the floor instead of being carried (there are clear signs of dragging), items often fell over and down, and an electrical outlet was ripped out of the wall.
At our request, blankets were laid down in the new apartment, so we didn't notice any damage to the floor.
However, a lot of the furniture was damaged, some of it quite severely.
- Many shelves have scratches and small and large dents.
- There's a large hole in the back of one shelf.
- The dryer has dents.
- The white furniture, in particular, was dirty.
- In addition, some boxes (including their contents) got wet. We had to throw away some of them.
We understand, of course, that minor mishaps can happen. However, we expected more caution from professional movers.
Likewise—and this is almost worse than all the damage—we weren't informed about any of the damage (except for one wet box).
So we paid the full invoice amount and only discovered all the damage gradually.
Last but not least, in response to our objectively written email of complaint, we received only a half-baked apology stating that they weren't immune to traces of the move.
All in all, in retrospect, we would have preferred to use a more expensive company and would have saved ourselves a lot of hassle and stress.Lesen Sie mehr
