I chose Relocato as my moving company because of their good reviews, but unfortunately, I'm not at all satisfied. The movers arrived a day early, completely unannounced, even though I had proof of my originally scheduled moving date. Since they were already booked for the next day, they had to load my furniture into the van that same day. Unloading then had to take place the day after the scheduled date, as an earlier move-in wasn't possible for me. This meant complete chaos and a considerable amount of extra work for me. However, I didn't receive any discount for this.
Furthermore, my furniture and belongings weren't handled very carefully. My car tires were thrown from the truck bed onto the street, some landing rim-first on the asphalt, the slats of my solid wood bed were damaged, and a large corner broke off an IKEA dresser. I only complained about the dresser, but the only response I received was that (despite the chaos caused by the swapped moving days) I should have reported the damage within 24 hours and that I was too late.
It's a real shame, but I can't recommend Relocato because of this. The one star is at least for the friendliness of the movers.Lesen Sie mehr

Relocato handled our move in December 2025. The movers were all friendly and hardworking, but completely untrained.
The plan was to move 77 cubic meters of belongings with two moving trucks from the Allgäu region to the Starnberg area. Loading was to take place on one day, and unloading on the following day. The move also included art, especially valuable ceramic pieces and original paintings.
The company arrived with two completely undersized trucks, each with a capacity of at most 30 cubic meters. This necessitated a return trip of 125 km each way (250 km total), and sleeping in our new home was impossible (we had already dismantled everything in our old one).
The paintings were not packed properly, resulting in a whole corner of one painting being chipped off its old wooden frame, requiring professional restoration. Picture corner protectors, promised in the order, were not provided.
Upon completion of the move, immediate payment without an invoice was demanded, which was problematic given the high amount, but unavoidable for the movers.
This also meant that moving boxes that were neither used nor delivered were billed and which I was forced to pay for.
We were assured that an invoice would be sent immediately by the responsible moving consultant, Thomas E., but as of today, January 8, 2026, this has not happened, nor has the consultant contacted us.
I rewarded the movers' diligence, albeit amateurishness, with a generous tip; the damages only became apparent later.
If I had the choice again, I would not choose Relocato/Ulm.Lesen Sie mehr

Danke für den Umzug.Unser persönlicher Tipp: das Kleingedruckte im Vertrag wirklich lesen. Beim Beladen zugucken, da kann man viel lernen. Zeitlich flexibel sein.
