0The team arrived promptly at 9:00 a.m. with four men and, in just four hours, emptied and loaded all three floors and all seven rooms. Particularly large pieces of furniture were disassembled after prior consultation and reassembled at the new location. The move into our new house then took place in the early afternoon.
In our new home, everything was set up, positioned, and even aligned to our complete satisfaction (washing machines/dryers). By 6:00 p.m., everything was completed exactly as we had wanted it. The Trans Welt employees were very polite, always respectful, and performed skilled work. They worked efficiently and effectively, without any standing around or doing nothing. We couldn't have imagined a better move. Excellent value for money. Especially considering we had some quotes that would have cost three times as much. The move of a three-room apartment took almost 12 hours, which, in my opinion, was completely disproportionate to the scope of the move—even though I actively helped, even though it wasn't my responsibility. Without my assistance, the move would likely have taken even longer.
I found the early afternoon particularly irritating: Around 2:00 p.m., two of the original four movers left the apartment without any replacements being arranged. The remaining two movers then seemed clearly overwhelmed, which further delayed the process and left a very disorganized impression overall.
After the move, we discovered damage to the parquet flooring and some furniture. In my experience, this damage was not present when we took possession of the apartment a few days earlier.
However, what I found most disappointing was how the damage was handled afterward. Instead of a cooperative resolution, the damage was denied, and pressure was applied early on with further payment demands (including a debt collection notice), even though, in my view, the matter had not yet been fully resolved.
Overall, I found the communication to be unhelpful and lacking in a solution-oriented approach. I consistently had the impression that the primary focus was on collecting the full amount of the invoice, regardless of how to address the reported damages.
My personal conclusion from this experience:
❌ Very long moving time despite doing some of the work myself
❌ Unclear staffing plans
❌ Damage to the apartment and belongings after the move
❌ Difficult and uncooperative communication regarding damages
I am sharing this experience to allow others to form their own opinion. Anyone who values a smooth process and constructive handling of problems should, in my opinion, carefully consider whether this company is the right choice.Lesen Sie mehr
For me, it's clear: the best value for money in the area. I would definitely move with them again!
We were particularly impressed by the efficiency and speed with which they worked – while still remaining careful, friendly, and helpful. Every move was precise, the team was incredibly well-coordinated, and even unexpected challenges were handled with a smile.
And all this at a truly fair price – it couldn't be better.
We are completely satisfied and would book Trans Welt again in a heartbeat.
