I ordered a washing machine from Otto, including installation and removal of my old appliance. I had the feeling, and still think, that it's a very xenophobic company, based on some comments I've heard. Even though they do employ some foreigners, the German employee didn't seem to care what his colleague thought about his comments. It seems to me they always send one German and one foreigner out. Their supervisor, Mr. Waldschläger, seems particularly incompetent! I was supposed to receive a washing machine with installation service, for which I paid extra. This service also includes a function test. Mr. Waldschläger tried to explain to me that a function test of the washing machine simply means turning it on and off once. Nothing more. The function of a washing machine is to wash and spin, not to turn it on and off. There's a reason they have a 15-minute wash program. Or the option to start a wash cycle, pause it, and then test the spin cycle. I had to argue about everything quite a bit. You could even call it an argument. The positive Google reviews can only be explained to me by the fact that some of them were probably left positive reviews by the company's own employees. The water tap was too stiff for them, so I, at 56 kg and 1.68 m tall, managed to turn it on and off myself. Even the supervisor, Mr. Waldschläger, agreed with the employees that if a tap is a bit stiff, they should leave it alone. But I, a petite woman, managed it. And here are two grown men who couldn't manage that? They just wanted to put the washing machine in place and be done with it! Even though I paid extra for the installation service. The time spent arguing endlessly should have been invested in customer service. I have never experienced such poor customer service. I certainly didn't feel like a customer. My advice: let them set everything up first and don't sign anything beforehand. That's what I did. They definitely won't pack everything up and take it back in their van. Only sign when everything has been done to your satisfaction. I strongly advise anyone ordering a delivery with assembly or connection service not to be alone with the two employees. I had the feeling they thought I was a woman alone at home and they could just take advantage of me. Wrong! They picked the wrong person!Lesen Sie mehr

I ordered a dishwasher from an online retailer on the evening of December 23, 2025, and the delivery company called on the morning of December 28, 2025, to arrange delivery on December 29, 2025. I was pleasantly surprised by the speedy delivery.

The delivery truck called about half an hour before arriving. Setup, test run...everything went smoothly. Both men were very friendly and polite.

They even took away my old dishwasher.

I'm completely satisfied!

We purchased a dishwasher with installation and removal of our old appliance included. The delivery men told my wife a bunch of tall tales and didn't actually install or remove anything. Apparently, it would have involved extra work. They simply placed the new appliance in the garden in December. Even after contacting the office, I couldn't find a solution. No one there seemed willing to carry out the work we had ordered and paid for. Neff eventually offered some compensation. But please, never again use this delivery company.
