We've recently been moving house, and transporting the piano was quite the undertaking. My previous experience with piano removal services was truly dreadful. We contacted Piano Box, and their service was absolutely top-notch. The two technicians from Piano Box were exceptionally professional!

TL;DR: Disaster!
The whole experience was a complete farce. I had delivered my piano myself to my front door using a van. To ensure it wouldn't be left outside during the cold season, I had arranged the delivery date with Pianobox weeks in advance and received confirmation. On the day of the delivery, the two guys arrived (an hour later than scheduled by phone) and decided the stairwell was too narrow. After the piano was already in the entrance, they loaded it back into the van. Then they accused me of being at fault because I should have checked whether the piano could fit up there or not – even though I had sent all the necessary information by email beforehand. On top of that, I was charged a delivery fee for the service they provided. In short, a complete disaster. I strongly advise everyone to choose a different moving company.

The two very nice guys from Pianobox performed a masterpiece today, bringing our grand piano up to the third floor without a hitch. They're absolute professionals you'd be happy to entrust your piano to.
