Absolute champions! We moved with Mars a couple of months ago and the whole experience was great. They came spot on time, with more than enough people. They communicated well during the move, pointing out fragile items and wrapping everything really well. We paid extra for a few pieces of furniture to be disassembled/reassembled and it was well worth it. They were also really friendly, helpful, and worked SO fast, despite us moving out of the 4th floor with no lift. Fantastic work, thanks again!

Hired Mars Umzüge for a move recently.
I will say it’s not a cheap exercise but they were actually better value than the other quote we received from a similar company so it seems like this is just the benchmark of what this kind of service costs in Berlin, so this is not a negative about Mars at all.
They were super professional, super fast, very reliable and it was overall a very positive experience. They came to estimate the job and were very thorough, and gave a very detailed quote so it was clear there would be no unwelcome surprises on the day of the move. They dropped off boxes in advance and then sent a reminder text before the move.
On the day, they had enough staff, showed up on time and worked SUPER hard. Very clear communication through one team lead as well who checked with us throughout the process. Every interaction we had with them was on time, professional and to the point.

The team moved me from Berlin to Leipzig. Davut came to my house and took his time to thoroughly price the job, which would include montage. Though a little more expensive than the other two companies I had approached, I like the professionalism of the company and went with them. I discussed at the time of our meeting, the payment terms. We agreed that the end of the month would be fine.
A few days later, I decided that four extra pieces of furniture would fit into my apartment that I was originally not going to bring. I asked them to requote me for this. The new quote shocked me a little as it was a 1/3 of the original price. Let’s just say we renegotiated a couple of time and the price dropped to more acceptable levels.
The night prior to my move, I received an email from Mars, asking me for a bank transfer that day or cash on the following day, after completion. I was a Little surprised as we had already discussed the payment terms. I wrote an email back to them and questioned this. Davut replied and said it was his mistake as he had forgotten our discussion. Closing the email however, he asked me if I could pay anyway! I’m the end I agreed to half now and half on completion.
On the day of the move, the team turned up on time. (7am) One gentleman was 20 minutes early. I got a team of 5 to move me in 3 trucks. They worked hard and efficiently. A good job all done in 3 hours. We all drove the 2 hours to Leipzig and by about 2pm started the unload. A great team effort with a constant flow from street level to the 5th floor.
Towards the end of the day, I was again reminded by Davut, about the payment. I told him in no uncertain terms, the payment would go ahead on job completion.
Job completion was at 7:30pm. A long day for all of us. I sat with Savut and paid the second half of the money.
Would I recommend this company… absolutely. A hard working team who worked tirelessly and efficiently. Only one thing was broken during the move and that was a lamp which I actually broke!
So here is the feedback for Mars. The team doing the lifting are great, the boss sitting in the background controlling the money, needs a lesson in customer service! I asked at the Price quote stage what the payment terms were. I asked if I could pay by the 25th of the month. It was agreed.
