I can't recommend this company for moves outside the region. For my move within Germany, it took five days from clearing out my old apartment to the delivery of the furniture, etc., to my new one. During this time, a few small items must have gone missing, which I unfortunately only discovered after I had unpacked everything. I was contractually promised that the empty moving boxes would be picked up, but this only happened after I hired a lawyer.

I can highly recommend this moving company. We moved from one city to another and the five of them were a fantastic team: quick assembly and excellent communication.

In April, we moved from Cologne to Potsdam with Borkowski Umzüge via the German Armed Forces and received excellent service. Communications via phone and email were quick and efficient. The movers were always very friendly and integrated us well. The piano transport also went smoothly and efficiently, as an experienced employee was in charge. I would deduct half a star because inexperienced employees caused some damage to the apartments that could have been avoided (wall damage). I also have no complaints about the subsequent handling of the invoicing, proof of no-parking zone, and property damage processing.

If you've lived in Berlin for a while, chances are you've encountered a lot of moving companies. Zapf used to be good, but now they're lackluster and expensive. Hertling and Scholz are simply too expensive, unbelievably expensive. You don't need them. Junker, okay, ambitious, but one day they're heaven and the next they're an absolute disaster. Very unprofessional. And the others? Good and bad. All perfectly normal, in my opinion. But the men from Borkowski were top notch. Efficient, fast, always friendly. Our move from Schmargendorf to Zehlendorf, from the fourth floor – the men around Heiko Adam made it perfect. All of them. A great team. Borkowski, excellent value for money. Highly recommended.
