PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU CONSIDER BOOKING THE COMPANY.

The moving truck arrived eight hours late (arriving at 4:00 p.m. instead of the agreed-upon 8:00 a.m.).

The dispatcher, Ms. G, reacted increasingly rudely to our inquiries and finally hung up during the conversation. Admittedly, our frustration levels were quite high, and we spoke more energetically.

The driver was so ill upon arrival that an ambulance had to be called; he was taken to the hospital.

The booked packing service was not carried out properly because no boxes were brought along. My husband had to get some himself at short notice. In an earlier phone call, Ms. G had assured us that boxes would be provided and would remain in our possession if a packing service was used. On the day of the move, she 'couldn't remember' or they weren't included in the quote, which doesn't make sense for a move with a packing service.

Only two employees showed up to pack and load a 135m² apartment. Without the help of our neighbors and my husband, this would have been almost impossible – the loading process took until 1:00 a.m.

The delayed loading meant that my husband couldn't hand over the old apartment as planned. We had to hire a painter at short notice, which incurred additional costs.

Several damages occurred because furniture and belongings were not packed properly.

The real wood floor in the new apartment was scratched because cabinets were pushed rather than carried.

When we asked when the truck would arrive at its destination, we were told by phone 'around 7:00 a.m.' In fact, it didn't arrive until 1:15 p.m. No one was available in the meantime.

Upon our complaint, any price reduction was refused. On the contrary: Ms. G essentially threatened to seize our furniture if we didn't pay immediately.

Please do yourself a favor and really think twice about whether you want to save money or whether you would rather move without stress.

We had a partial load transported from Berlin to the Allgäu region. It was loaded in Berlin yesterday and delivered this morning at 8 a.m. Everything went perfectly. The two employees were very friendly and hardworking. Thanks also to the lady on the phone for the pleasant conversation. Payment (fixed price) went smoothly. The price for the move was more than fair.

The initial contact with Prinz-Umzüge was fine; I sent photos of all the items being moved and discussed the details.
The move went well; the driver, Mahmut, was very nice and helpful. However, shortly before departure, the company called us demanding an additional €800 due to allegedly over-sized items. We were put under a lot of pressure, and upon arrival, they only allowed us to unload after we called the police.

Important points for future customers:
- Fixed-price contracts are binding; extortion of more money at your doorstep is considered coercion.
- The company bears the risk of calculating the costs; the excess quantity would have to be proven.
- Information and a choice must be provided; otherwise, there is no right to additional payment.
- Retention of the moving goods is only legal if the contractually agreed amount is not paid (everything else must also be done in writing).

Bayram and his team were really swift and clean with their work. We just had to shift few suitcases and carton boxes. Around 21. But they did all that in a span of 2 hours, with no issues. Very friendly. Although they don't understand English, they could understand my broken Deutsch.

Yes there were a few hiccups, like we wanted the move to happen by evening 6 pm. It was agreed upon. But on the day of movr, they called by morning and asked whether they can do the move a little earlier. We told 4 pm was ok. But got a call again saying is 11 am ok. Although we were busy, we have seen that these things do happen during shifting process. So we agreed that 11:30 am was ok. They came exactly by 11:30 am, which was an hour after the previous call. Took a glance regarding what and all had to be moved, took my signature and started right away.

Instead of 2 people, there were a total of 3 people. But again, there was no change in the pricing. It was the same as agreed upon. I was giving a quote of 230 Euros for the first 3 hours, and was informed well in advance that it would additionally cost 70 euros every hour.
As mentioned above, they finished the whole work in less than two hours. Both me and my wife were happy with the work. So my wife gave a team total of 300 euros to the team leader, which included the tip as well.

STAY AWAY!!!
At the end of January 2025, I commissioned Prinz Umzüge for various moving services in Friedrichshain. This turned out to be a serious mistake! Right at the beginning, the team leader presented me with a piece of paper titled 'Cost Estimate,' which suddenly showed a total gross price that was almost DOUBLE the originally agreed price! (approx. €450 instead of just under €230).
A telephone consultation with the secretary of Prinz Umzüge didn't yield a solution, but merely indicated that the trainee had made an incorrect quote, and that a Mr. B. (managing director?) had previously contacted me by phone and informed me of the (alleged) error in the quote and the revised total gross price. However, this is not true; I never spoke to Mr. B.!
Due solely to the time constraints – in particular, I had to return the fully loaded van to the rental company on the same day – and the lack of success in securing other helpers for that day, I accepted the secretary's 'offer' to pay a total gross price that was €70.00 higher than the originally agreed price.

The work of the employees was also unsatisfactory: My mother (67 years old, recently suffered from lumbago and a broken femoral neck) had to stand in the van and hand over the heavy boxes and items, while her employees just stared at her in front of the van and waited for the next box.
The employees' handling of my belongings was very careless; for example, pieces of furniture were slammed against the doorframe and simply dropped onto the (wooden) floor.
My basement was simply crammed full of things instead of neatly stacking the boxes (see photo).
Additionally, one of your employees smelled strongly of alcohol.

This effort was culminated in the warning that I had to pay the fee directly in cash. Bank transfers were not possible. After the employees refused to comply with my request for a bank transfer – also after a telephone consultation with the secretary – I complied with this pressure, but I did get a receipt for the cash payment.

If I could, I would give them zero stars!
