Booked as a subcontractor for the overrated moving startup Movinga. They arrived late (12:15 instead of the booked 7-10 am; the three guys had already been on the road for over six hours, according to their own account, and everything dragged on, partly due to the numerous smoke breaks). Almost everything survived intact, but unfortunately, not everything that had been booked was moved. The main problem was that they clearly had far too little space in the van (the moving list was almost 20 cubic meters, the van only 18 cubic meters, and about 3 cubic meters of that was already filled with packaging waste from a kitchen delivered previously in another job).
Therefore, they apparently decided, among other things, not to disassemble and take a 2-meter-wide wardrobe because it was smaller than booked and thus deviated from the moving list, and to save time by initially refusing booked assembly work and then simply leaving at the end. The arrogant boss played dumb in several phone calls and referred me to Movinga, even though everything was documented in writing. The fact that our order couldn't be extended to include another piece of furniture at short notice was perfectly acceptable, but we found it quite outrageous that they didn't even complete the list we had.
In the end, we had to remove the wardrobe and other items from the moving list ourselves at our own expense.
Since Movinga is our contractual partner, we reduced the invoice after consulting with the consumer protection agency.

The movers were hired through MOVINGA. So far, so good; the move went relatively quickly. The refrigerator wasn't placed in its designated spot, but I was still paid. The front door was damaged – supposedly covered by MOVINGA, but according to their terms and conditions, they should have contacted me within 24 hours – on Easter Sunday, of course! When I contacted Klever, the company hired through the movers, they offered to repair it, but no one came by or contacted me again. Looks like I'm stuck with the damage... WHAT A SHAME!
