The process from first contact till the move completion was handled very well with ease. The communication was seamless. The movers are very professional and patient. The whole process took just 3 hours and we had a lot of furniture and cartons. Everything was assembled with care. I am very thankful to the team for excellent experience!

NICHT BEAUFTRAGEN - VIEL SCHADEN - SCHLECHTER SERVICE
DO NOT HIRE - Unfortunately, this was not the experience that we had hoped it would be. We have moved many times in our lives, but this was the worst experience that we have both had. We were moving from our two apartments into our new home together. The beginning of the process was very smooth and professional with AG Umzüge. The employees from the office for the initial appointments were seemingly good. But when the actual days of the move came about, it was an absolute disaster. On the first day, no one from the movers could speak German, so we tried English, but no one spoke English either except for one person, the driver, who had to stay with the trucks, so communication was very difficult, and the movers themselves were clearly inexperienced and did not know how to maneuver items into our new apartment effectively at all. On the second day, there were German speakers, which helped, but I had payed for them to pack my apartment up as well, and in addition from breaking a lamp due to carelessness, the movers forgot to label all of the boxes, so when unloading them at the final destinations, they had no idea where anything went, and I had to open all of the boxes on site in order to determine where the movers needed to bring the boxes, which took unnecessary extra time. I also found my cacti packed in with hand-crocheted blankets from my family. How do cacti from the living room end up packed with blankets from the bedroom? How does one not think that cacti don't belong in a box with delicate blankets.
Upon arriving to our new apartment, both our walls in our new apartment as well as our actual furniture and belongings were damaged, scratched, etc. because of the movers' inability to effectively bring items into the apartment, for which we had given clear details about the setup and shown the floorplan. The front office never visited our final apartment despite our offer to show them in order for them to plan accordingly. Our television has permanent damage due to mishandling because the movers refused to use the actual original box and Styrofoam and instead their moving blankets, but they handled the television with too much force and pressure from their hands on the screen, and now there are permanent damage marks that are visible when the television is on. They also falsely built our bed, which collapsed on the first night as we were going to bed after a long day. While they did come and successfully repair the bed after two visits as well as pay for the one broken lamp, we are still waiting for the additional agreed upon funds for damages to our television, which still has not been paid despite many phone calls, e-mails, etc. They are no longer responsive.
All in all, while we got a great price from AG Umzüge, but we should have gone with another service. This was a very unfortunate experience, and we recommend that others in search of a moving service go elsewhere.Lesen Sie mehr
