On August 17, 2024, one of the most difficult days of our trip was upon us!
In Google Maps, Schmidt Moving Company was the first moving company listed!
Mr. Schmidt, from the moving company, was reliable from the very beginning and kept us fully informed, which meant we were well-prepared!
We found that Mr. Schmidt was available for us even in August, when other moving companies had no available dates because their staff were on vacation, and his quote was also significantly cheaper than that of another company whose fixed-price offer we obtained!
On the appointed day, we started ahead of schedule. As promised, Mr. Schmidt was personally on the move on one of the hottest days of the year. With his strong, well-equipped men, we moved quickly and steadily, even though our apartment is on the second floor!
... With extraordinary strength, the sweat was pouring off us, yet we never got tired. We were amazed for days afterwards and were so happy about our decision!

A big thank you to Mr. Schmidt and his fantastic team. Despite working quickly, the move was very stress-free. The team and the boss worked seamlessly together. Everyone was very friendly, and everything went perfectly. They started at 8:00 a.m. and finished at 4:30 p.m., even though it was a large move. The price was absolutely right, and I can highly recommend them. 👍👍👍👍

Schmidt Moving Company is a truly dedicated and professional team. They always asked questions if anything was unclear, and even helped us when we didn't know how to open the double-glazed sliding door to the balcony in our new apartment. Nothing was damaged, we were treated with respect, and the atmosphere was generally very relaxed, despite the move from the third floor to the ground floor 35 km away. The price-performance ratio is absolutely spot on – you can only expect that with so many employees. They started at 8:00 a.m. and finished around 4:00 or 5:00 p.m., everything even went according to plan! We had agreed on a fixed price, and that price was honored. You definitely won't be asked for any additional payments with fixed/flat-rate prices. The owner himself came by before we gave us the estimate to take notes and get an idea of how many boxes and pieces of furniture we would need. He praised us for having planned and organized everything so thoroughly. The company was able to start immediately because the people moving were also asked to do a little prep work; that way, everything goes smoothly. I would even give them 10 stars! Many thanks again for the great work and the stress-free move. Best regards and all the best. Unlike other moving companies in the area, this one gives you a fixed price quote upfront, so you know it won't end up being more expensive.
They arrived on time, worked very quickly and efficiently, were friendly and helpful, and even wrapped some furniture in stretch film.

A personal site visit and inspection of the furniture beforehand, followed by fast and professional transport of the furniture itself.
They handled the move with great care, prioritizing the integrity of the furniture.
Compared to other moving companies, they called us directly and provided a fair quote quickly after the site visit. The service was also impeccable during the move itself.
We highly recommend them!
