The move was okay. Personally, I would have liked to have received more frequent feedback about when the vehicle would be on site (a move over 500 km away). The three people on site were very nice - there's little to complain about. However, the fact that we helped with lugging the boxes didn't even get us a thank you. Why the second star deduction? It was actually communicated (communication is a slight weakness of the Anhalt moving agency) that the first day would be scheduled for arrival and loading, the second day for return and unloading, and the third day just as a backup in case something went wrong. During the move itself, there was no mention of a backup day; it simply became the unloading day. That's okay, because it wouldn't have been possible in two days, but then they could have told you about it in advance! Furthermore, the transport lock for the washing machine wasn't installed, even though it was available. The motto was 'we don't need it,' 'the thing won't be shaken around' - it survived, but that's simply unnecessary.
Then, at the final handover, you're supposed to sign to confirm that everything is OK. This also applies to the electrical appliances, which couldn't even be tested at that point. The main thing is that Cappo has his signature. The cabinet door (sliding door) was nicely demonstrated, showing that it 'fits' and can be slid back and forth. However, afterward, we noticed that something was still wrong, and we needed to reattach something. At the end, we tipped Cappo for the entire team, but I have no idea if his colleagues saw any of it, because we didn't receive a thank you, and the team's farewell was also meager. Out the door and gone!
Overall, the performance of the Anhalt moving company was fine. You can't go wrong here. Personally, I'll try a different company for my next move (which hopefully won't happen for a while yet). Things might get better, but they might also get worse. Addendum: I'm deducting a third star for the fact that the receipts issued don't have dates.
